Chiang Mai ToyRide

Support the Chiang Mai ToyRide

Tuskers is supporting Chiang Mai'second ToyRide which will take place on 4th January 2009. We hope that hundreds of motorcycles will take part and that an enormous pile of toys can be collected for Chiang Mai's underprivileged children.

The event starts at 9.45am at Tesco Lotus Khamtien where motocyclists will gather in their hundreds all carrying a brand new toy to give to the children. Any motorcyclist is welcome to join, so whether you have a superbike or a little run around please come along to support the event and help us create the largest charity toy ride in Asia.

Make a Child Smile at the Chiang mai 2008 ToyRide

The event will include a massed parade of motorcycles through the city which sholud be spectacle. We are hoping to have hundreds of bikes from top of the range Harley's and BMW's to little Honda runarounds and Vespas/ It doesn't matter what you ride as long as you bring a smile and a toy for the kids.

For those with bigger bikes or wanting a longer ride there is the option of an additional run up to Samoeng. All the bikes will end up at Lake Huai Tung Tao (just past the 700 year stadium) where we plan to have a huge party and give out some of the toys to a group o hildren from one of the city's orpahnages. Other toys will be distributed the following week on Thailand's National Children's Day and the remainder given to children in city hospitals.

The toys will be distributed by Give and Live which is a non profit corporation that do excellent work for supporting children's organisations and other charitable causes in Chiang Mai.

Please support this excellent event and enjoy a great day out for a worthy cause.
