From Rags to Riches

Friday December 4th

This year we are taking the inspiration for our Christmas tree decorating party from an old Russian tradition – rags to riches – which involves a fancy dress game and the drinking of vodka and champagne!

During the evening we will decorate two trees, one will be a poor tree with old and ragged decorations while the other will be richly decorated in grand style. At 11 pm guests will be encouraged to don tramp like clothes and gather around the raggedy tree where we will toast out the old year with ice cold flavoured vodkas.

Then it will all change and participants will have 30 minutes to change into fine flamboyant and rich costumes to gather round the posh tree where we will begin the festive season with toasts of champagne!

The idea is to cast off your bad luck in the old year and look forward to wealth and riches in the new festive season. It is also an opportunity to have a good drink and a bit of fun! As it’s a Friday night there will be promotion prices from 7-9pm and the vodka and champagne for the late night festivities will also be at a great price.
