The Chiang Mai Photographic Group is independently run and open to everyone in Chiang Mai with an interest in cameras and photography. The group includes people of all levels from skilled professionals to absolute beginners and welcomes new members and guests to their meetings which are held at Tuskers on Wednesday evenings from 7pm.

The Group organises occasional outings where members can share their expertise in practical situations.

Members of the group have full access to the CMPG Website. This forum enables members to keep in contact between meetings and discuss any matters concerning photography. There are discussion boards for general matters, Photoshop editing, local photo opportunities, equipment and a classifieds section for buying and selling gear and everyone in the Group has their own online gallery to showcase their pictures.
